Welcome to 2491 (Lyneham) Squadron ATC

We’re proud to be a Royal Air Force Air Cadet Squadron based at the Community Centre on MOD Lyneham, welcoming young people from Lyneham, Royal Wootton Bassett, and surrounding villages.

Our cadets are aged 12 to 19, and we’re always excited to welcome new recruits starting from Year 8 and age 12, up to age 17.

Our next intake is planned for the start of the new school year in September. If you or your child is interested in joining, we’d love to hear from you! We already have a waiting list, so get in touch early to secure a spot.

We’ll be hosting an Open Evening to introduce new cadets and families to what we do. If you’d like to be contacted with details closer to the time, just drop us a message.
