Camps
When we say ‘Camps’ this doesn’t always mean staying away from home in a tent!
Camps are generally a period of time staying away with other Cadets, whether this be a camping trip, but could also include a week away on an RAF base staying in barrack blocks learning a bit about life in the RAF, it could be up to two weeks on one of the biggest Cadet Camps at the Royal International Air Tattoo, or could even be somewhere abroad such as Cyprus or even a trip away to somewhere even more exotic with the International Air Cadet Exchange.
The vast majority of camps are ran during the school holidays and funding could be available to support the Cadet through the Squadron and / or John Thornton's Young Acheivers Foundation.
It is a great way to meet new people, take on new challenges, experiences and make some great memories!
